i find myself in a dark room, was wondering why lights are not on. I dont remember what happened earlier. It was pitch dark. There was not even a single ray of light. Suddenly a fear ran through me. Is it really pitch dark or am I not able to see anything...Life becoming all black is horrible. I shouted in frustration but I find out that there was nobody around. I realised I was all alone.
There is no point in waiting for something to happen. It was really cold and i tried to stand up. The land below me wasnt flat. I felt like I was in some cave where there is no light. It is tough to move if you are blind, but I couldnt stay there any longer. I moved a little further very very slowly not knowing what to expect ahead. The place was full of rocks. I hit something on my head. I quickly turned away. Just a step away there was no land beneath. I landed with a thud but escaped from that scare. Perhaps that was the end of that cave.
I was trying to move on the edge of that cliff. I was thinking that would be the safest option as I didnt understand where to head to. As I went ahead I realised that I couldnt move any further on that end. Instead of moving away from the cliff I thought it would be safter to move along the cliff since there would be little chances hitting the same cliff again. So I tried to move to the other end. With everything completely dark I realised the best way to move around is to make some sound, like the bats :-)

my first short story
Being a seeker of adventure no situation has ever scared me but there was once when I found myself in the scariest place, something that I couldn't even imagine in my dreams.
...........I was stuck in a dense forest. The surroundings were so colorful so pleasing to the eye. it was quite late in the night. There was knee long grass all around and I was trying to find a way out of this. Fortunately there was sign no of any animals. But I could hear that scary sound that you usually hear in forests. But slowly as the light was fading the area became darker and the sounds kept increasing. The place was becoming creepier with every passing minute.
All the trees were covered by creepers making it look dark green. Then suddenly I could hear the hissing sound of some snakes. After that I could realize that some of the creepers hanging from the trees were nothing but snakes, one of them just moved. To my shock I could feel a slimy cold thing on my back moving down. Summing up all the courage I tried to catch hold of it. That was nothing but a drop of sweat running down my spine. In the process I turned my head a little towards my left. I saw a pair of eyes staring at me. I tried to run only to realize that my feet were stuck. I thought it was better to stay calm but I could feel my heartbeats beating loudly. I didn't want to look into the animals eyes directly. After sometime the animal left.
Somehow I managed to free myself and moved ahead when I heard the voice of the gal, the gal of my dreams. She was right in front of me. Even she was alone and was very surprised to see me.
I had tried many times to propose this gal but could never manage to. The moment I see her I would forget everything. I would be lost in her eyes. The same happened again. But this time she was scared and was in my arms. I cud feel the entire world in my shoulders.
With her around the time just flew very fast. Everything was happening in a story book style. First get caught in a creepy place then a dream date with nobody to disturb us. It took me some time to get back to senses. I couldn't understand what was happening. So many things were running in my head, seemed like its going to explode. All this was too good to be true but then again I knew this wasn't a dream. Lost in a dense forest with just each other for company. I was enjoying this situation with her but was also scared as to what fate had in store for us next.
I found a nice place. Immediately some evil thoughts were running through my head. Both of us were so scared and if I proposed to her now there is no way she will refuse ;) And then the unthinkable happened. She was looking like an angel. With the background music of the birds, those magical words automatically made its way into her ears. She just gave a wonderful smile as if she had been waiting for it all her life. I was so happy and then, suddenly, everything blacked out.
The following morning when I opened my eyes, all my friends were ready to continue trekking into the wild. It was eleven in the morning. I was back in our camping spot where we were partying hard the previous night. Unfortunately that night, I had picked up a fight with my gal. To avoid the situation I ran away into the forest, probably a bit too far. I slipped and fell. And then...........
